I am so excited to introduce you to all of my Incredible quilters that tested my first quilt pattern Point Twist. It is so incredible to see something I designed being created but such talented individuals. I have enjoyed getting to know each one of these talented testers and would love for you to get to know them as well. Even better get to see the amazing quilts they created.
Sarah of @riverroequilts pattern tested a baby size of Point Twist. It turned out so cute and I love the hearts that she quilted into the quilt. So adorable for the little girl that she made the quilt. Check out Sarah on Instagram here.
Where do you live? I live in a small town near St. Louis, MO.
How long have you been quilting? I regularly for a little over a year, but I learned to sew in 2011 and I enjoyed working with knits!
Why do you pattern test? I love to edit and I love to sew, so testing just makes sense. Plus, it gives me an excuse to sew - telling my husband, "I've got a quilt due to a pattern writer - sorry I can't do the dishes right now!" ;) Joking aside... quilting is how I recharge, it's my unicorn space! Oftentimes it's easy to say to ourselves, "I'll quilt later, I need to do XYZ for work or my family" but then it gets pushed to the back burner. So pattern testing means that quilting remains a priority and goes on my to-do list with everything else. Who doesn't love putting fun stuff on their to-do list?! :P
What do you love about Point Twist? I love how the negative space in this pattern gives the quilting motif a chance to shine.
What was your inspiration or colors used for Point Twist? I made this quilt for a little girl who loves pink!
