I am so excited to introduce you to all of my Incredible quilters that tested my first quilt pattern Point Twist. It is so incredible to see something I designed being created but such talented individuals. I have enjoyed getting to know each one of these talented testers and would love for you to get to know them as well. Even better get to see the amazing quilts they created.
Phyllis of @phyllisstudt pattern tested the throw size of Point Twist. It turned out so special and I love the heart that she quilted into the corner. How adorable is the cutie with the quilt and the fun backing Phyllis picked? Check out Phyllis on Instagram here.
Where do you live? I live in Seal Beach California
How long have you been quilting? I have been quilting 7 years full time since I retired!
Why do you pattern test? I somehow I found you on Instagram and when I read about your design background I felt a connection and thought I could put my skills toward helping a young entrepreneur like yourself!
What do you love about Point Twist? This was a fun quilt to sew, requires very little matching, and pieces sew together beautifully! There are lots of possibilities with the design—one way prints, larger prints, easy pattern to make either the fabric or the quilting stand out!!! I will definitely be sewing this one again. The pattern was very well written and easy to follow.
What was your inspiration or colors used for Point Twist? The fabric I used was from my trip last summer to Hawaii! The blue accent reminds me of water flowing.
Phyllis's test block. How cute are these birdhouses?
