Where do you live? St. Louis, MO
How long have you been quilting? 15+ years. I learned how to piece quilts when I was 13 and began longarming in 2018.
Why do you pattern test? Pattern testing is something I've always wanted to try so I really leaned into it this year. I love seeing the creativity of other quilters and am a big believer in the positive, uplifting spirit of the quilting community. I love helping other quilters realize their goals. I also love meeting other amazing quilters - the endless creativity always inspires me.
What do you love about Home Track? Log cabin blocks are one of my favorite traditional quilt blocks. I love how this pattern puts a modern spin on the log cabin block and the color options are virtually endless!
What was your inspiration or colors used for Home Track? Moda Bella Solids (Black & White). My boyfriend's sister is having a baby later this year and is decorating in blacks,
whites, and grays. When I saw the Home Track pattern and how modern it was, I thought it would be perfect for her, and black and white would make it even more perfect!
What is one quilting goal you have? My quilting goal for this year is to grow my longarm quilting business and continue to meet other amazing quilters in this community, as well as make a dent in my UFOs.
