I am so excited to introduce you to all of my Incredible quilters that tested Pinwheel Star. It is so incredible to see something I designed being created but such talented individuals. I have enjoyed getting to know each one of these talented testers and would love for you to get to know them as well. Even better get to see the amazing quilts they created.
Lu of @she_who_quilts pattern tested a Baby size of Pinwheel Star. It turned out so great. I love how Lu used an ombre from dark blue, to turquoise, and then to purple to have a variety of colors and movement in her pinwheels. I love how the yellow pops against it all. Why do you pattern test? Enjoy learning new techniques and ideas, meeting people with similar interests, and helping others!
What do you love about Pinwheel Star? The focus on the stars then the secondary pinwheel providing movement. Enjoyed the interactions/ encouragement from working with the quilters and Christina!
What was your inspiration or colors used for Pinwheel Star? Used fabrics from Northcott - jelly roll because it included my favorite color purple for pinwheel and yellow to make it coordinate and pop!
